Checklist dell'annuncio: foto richieste e codice modello

A complete listing passes review on the first attempt and receives fewer questions. Prepare these photos and data before opening the guided selling process: the same checklist appears within the flow, step by step.

Photos required

  • Full front (mandatory)

Eyewear open, frontally, on a neutral and uniform background, diffused light without flash. Everything must be in the frame, including the temples.

  • Left side (mandatory)

Full profile with open temple: shows the curvature of the front and the condition of the hinge.

  • Right side (mandatory)

Like the left side. If there is a difference between the two sides (bent temple, replaced screw) it must be visible here.

  • Inside left temple — markings (mandatory)

Legible macro of the model code, caliber, bridge, temple length, and color code. This photo links the listing to the catalog entry.

  • Inside right temple — markings (mandatory)

Macro of the logo, country of production, and any hallmarks or serial number.

  • Lenses in grazing light (recommended)

Tilt the eyewear towards a side light source: micro-scratches, halos, and worn coatings are only visible this way, and declaring them avoids disputes.

  • Hinges and screws (recommended)

Hinge half-open: shows the number of barrels, screws, and any play.

  • Case and accessories (recommended)

Case, box, cloth, certificate or receipt in the same photo: for high-end items, they influence the final price.

  • Declared defects (recommended)

A close-up photo for every defect mentioned in the description: deep scratches, repairs, worn plating, deformations.

Technical image requirements

  • JPEG, PNG or WebP format, maximum 8 MB per image, long side at least 1200 px.
  • Indirect natural light or diffused light: direct flash hides scratches and makes the eyewear look retouched.
  • Neutral background, always the same in all photos, without objects or logos of other brands.
  • No filters, no borders, no superimposed text or watermarks: photo review rejects edited images.
  • Only your photos of the actual item: images from catalogs or other listings are not allowed.

Model code and reference

Where to find the code
Open the left temple and look at the inner surface: in almost all frames you will find the model code and measurements. The right temple usually shows the logo, country of production and, on high-end brands, the serial number.
How to read the measurement sequence
The three numbers are in the order lens caliber, bridge width, temple length: in a sequence like 52 20 145, the caliber is 52 mm, the bridge 20 mm, and the temple 145 mm. Typical separators are the square, the dash, or the space.
Model code and color code
The model code identifies the shape (e.g., RB2140, 649, 5241); the group that follows is the frame color code. Both are needed: two examples of the same model with different colors have different markets and prices.
If markings are illegible
Do not invent the code. Enter the model as a custom item, still photograph the inside of the temples and describe the wear: the listing will be completed in review instead of being rejected for mismatched data.
Check on the catalog
Search for the code in the LUNETOS catalog before publishing: if the model exists, verified specifications will be pre-filled and the listing will become comparable with other items of the same reference.

Before photographing

  • Clean lenses and frame with a microfiber cloth: dust in macro looks like a defect.
  • Check that the screws are in place and that the eyewear rests flat, without crooked temples.
  • Retrieve case, box, cloth, certificate, or receipt: these must be declared in the listing.

Data to have at hand

  • Model code and color code read from inside the temple.
  • The three measurements in millimeters: caliber, bridge, temple length.
  • Front material and lens type (sunglass, neutral, prescription, demo, or absent).
  • Condition grade and separate status of front, lenses, hinges, and temples.

Always to be declared

  • Replaced or non-original lenses.
  • Repairs, solders, non-original screws, and replaced temples.
  • Deformations, worn plating, deep scratches visible on the lenses.
  • Custom prescription lenses: the buyer will replace them.

Ready for shipment

  • Hard case closed, wrapped in cushioning material, inside a larger box.
  • Platform-generated label applied to the package: Poste Italiane for Italy, FedEx for abroad.
  • Shipping within the business days indicated in the order: payment is released after delivery.
