Where to sell used sunglasses
Branded sunglasses and optical frames have a real second-hand market, but the price depends on three things: identifying the exact model, proving authenticity, and ensuring the buyer that their money is safe. LUNETOS brings these three things together in a single flow.
How to sell, step by step
1. Identify the model
Guided selling starts from the catalog: you search for brand and model, or the reference code printed on the temple, and the verified specifications (caliber, bridge, temple length, material, shape) are pre-filled. This way, the listing is comparable with other examples of the same model.
2. Photograph and describe the condition
Photos of the front, internal temples, lenses, and markings are needed, plus the condition grade and any accessories present (case, cloth, documentation). The condition sheet is what makes the difference in the final price.
3. Authentication
Photographic review is mandatory for every listing: we check that photos of the markings are present, legible, and consistent with the model's data sheet. We do not appraise the item: you declare its authenticity, and a complete set of photos is what helps you sell faster and at a better price.
4. Price
You can compare active listings of the same model before choosing the price, decide whether to accept offers, and update it at any time from the seller dashboard.
5. Shipping with ready label
When the eyewear is sold, you receive the pre-paid label: Poste Italiane for Italy, FedEx for international shipments. Tracking and delivery status remain visible to you and the buyer within the order.
6. Secure payment
The buyer's payment remains blocked until delivery. It is released when the buyer confirms, or automatically three days after courier delivery if there are no disputes.

How to declare the condition
Condition is the variable that shifts the most value after the model. Declaring it precisely reduces disputes after delivery and accelerates payment release.

- When do I receive payment?
- After delivery. The amount is released when the buyer confirms receipt of the compliant eyewear, or automatically three days after delivery recorded by the courier if no dispute is opened.
- How much does it cost to sell?
- Listing an ad is free, and as a seller, you pay no sales commission: you receive the full price indicated in the ad. The 7% service fee is borne by the buyer. If you want more visibility, you can purchase a sponsorship package: amounts and durations are on the Fees and Costs page.
- How do I ship the eyewear?
- The label is generated by the platform: Poste Italiane for shipments within Italy, FedEx for international ones. Pack the hard case inside a box with cushioning material and hand over the package with the label applied.
