Authentication at LUNETOS
Every high-value frame sold on LUNETOS passes through a documented authentication process before funds reach the seller.
Photo-based review
Sellers upload a mandatory image set: front, both temple arms with markings, bridge and hinge detail, inner temple engraving, lens etching and any defect.
Our reviewers compare the markings, reference codes, hinge construction and size notation against the LUNETOS catalogue entry for that exact model.
Physical authentication
For frames above the mandatory threshold, or on buyer request, the item ships first to a LUNETOS authentication partner. The frame is inspected in hand, photographed and then forwarded to the buyer.
Outcomes
A case closes as verified, inconclusive or rejected. Rejected items are returned to the seller at the seller's cost and the buyer is refunded in full, including shipping and protection fees.
What we do not do
We do not issue brand certificates and we are not affiliated with any manufacturer. Our verdict is an expert opinion recorded with evidence, not a legal guarantee of provenance.
